Jerusalem Missions
At First Baptist Church Keller, our “Jerusalem” is defined as our community—within about a 15-minute drive of our church. Tens of thousands of people are all around us, and more are moving in each day! God has given us a responsibility to touch people even is they never come to our church.
We have several community-centered ministries that are designed to reach people beyond our walls. Some are:
- Beacon Team -- a team of lay people targeting new neighborhoods in our community by making visits to each home.
- Community Ministry – meeting material needs for people in our community with their material needs. If you would like to help this in this ministry, please contact Lawrence Duhon.
- Kids Beach Club – an evangelistic outreach for children at Florence and Woodland Springs Elementary Schools after school on Thursdays
- Nursing Home Ministries – Mimosa Manor, Sterling House, Whitley Place, North Pointe, Evergreen, Conservatory and Alterra
