Jim Dempsey serves as the Director of Preschool Ministry at First Baptist Church. Jim served as a Sunday School teacher and deacon at the church prior to appointment to this position. He attained his doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin in Early Childhood Education in 1985. Jim has taught young children in preschools and child care centers, and has taught Child Development courses at the University of North Texas. He and his wife Gail have three grown daughters and have lived in Keller since 1985.
