Prayer Enlistment Team (10 people) Staff Liaison: Lawrence Duhon
This team of about 10 adults will be responsible for distributing 350 copies of the Seek God for the City 40-day prayer guide to families or individuals who will commit to this period of prayer from February 17 through March 28. The primary responsibilities for these team members will be on Sunday mornings (January 31, February 7, and February 14), on Wednesday evenings during that period, and on Sunday evening, January 31. The team members will sign up for specific time blocks and station themselves at the book distribution table to answer questions about this prayer emphasis and to enlist volunteers to pray daily for our community and for our March 27 Family Field Day.

“Saturday in the Park” Invitation Team (20 people) Staff Liaison: Lawrence Duhon
This team of about 20 people will be responsible for distributing free water bottles with information about the Family Field Day event at the City of Keller’s Easter egg hunt at Bear Creek Park from 8:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 27. These personal invitations will help us meet the attendance goal for the Family Field Day through timely reminders about the event. People of all ages can serve on this team.

Publicity Team (7 people) Staff Liaison: Casey Lewis
Members of the publicity team work directly with the team leader
to publicize Family Field Day at FBC Keller. Responsibilities include: Pray for Family Field Day, Help create and approve appropriate publicity pieces, hang posters at local business, schools, and home owner associations. Also includes nonprofit opportunity advertisement.


Prize Team (8 people) Staff Liaison: Casey Lewis
Members of the prize team work to obtain prizes to be given away at FFD. Basic responsibilities include prayer for Family Field Day, obtaining prize donations from local businesses, pick up and deliver prizes to the church, and setup and maintain the Prize area on the day of Family Field Day.

Set up Team (25 people) Staff Liaison: Jim Dempsey
Responsibilities include preparing the southwest parking area and church facilities for the FFD activities. Also includes setup of cones, dividing ropes, tent(s), rest and refreshment stations, chairs and tables for registration, games, and eating areas, trash cans, information booth, stage with sound system (for door prize drawings); and first aid station, and more.

Cleanup Team (30 people) Staff Liaison: Marvin Hatcher
The Cleanup team will stay to help with all activities associated with the tear down of stations, picking up of trash, and making the grounds presentable for Sunday services.

Food Team (60 people) Staff Liaison: Ed Nelson
The Food Team will be responsible for the set up of stations and preparation of food – hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, condiments, snow cones, cotton candy, and drinks including drinks – for FFD.

Game Team (125 people) Staff Liaison: Tony Richmond
People (“referees”) are needed to help with the management, conduct and safety at all game stations for approximately 30 minute blocks of time. Games primarily include blow up action games for children preschool through grade 6.

Petting Zoo and Pony Ride Team (10 people) Staff Liaison: Tony Richmond
People (“zoo keepers”) are needed to assist professional personnel in the management conduct, safety, and lines associated for these activities. Games are primarily for children from preschool through grade 6. Assignments will be made in approximately 30 minute blocks.

Tent Team (10-15 people) Staff Liaison: Dr. Michael Wright
This team will construct (and tear down at the conclusion) one or more tents. Tents will provide shade for FFD participants.

First Aid Team (5 people) Staff Liaison: Dr Michael Wright
This team will provide any needed aid for persons attending FFD activities.

Registration Team (60 people) Staff Liaison: Jack Gatewood
The Registration Team will greet our guests and help them register at FFD. Each member will provide one hour of service during FFD. It’s going to be a fun way to meet some great people in the Keller community!

40 Days of Prayer Team (350 people/families) Staff Liaison: Lawrence Duhon
This group will engage in earnest forthright prayer asking for God’s power to reach the city of Keller with the Gospel. Each Team member/family will enlist to serve and be given a 40 day prayer guide. Prayer is the key to a successful FFD and Resurrection Weekend experience.

Media Team (10 people) Staff Liaisons: David Toledo and Jeremy Carroll
This team will assist in the set up and tear down of sound system. Jeremy will be the “disc jockey” for the day and will need people to assist him in running errands and other activities.

Balloons for Kids Team (10 people) Staff Liaison: Jim Dempsey

Outreach Rally Night Team (100 people) Staff Liaison: Ted Eaton
We are all in! This team will make an energetic attempt to connect with guests of FFD and Easter Worship. We will make personal visits to each of our guests on Monday April 5 at 6:30.
