On Wednesday evenings during the Fall and Spring semesters, preschoolers can attend Mission Friends, a missions focused hour of experiences tailored for young children. Mission Friends is offered at 7PM, directly following an hour of Preschool “Worship Arts for Kids”. Together, these two programs provide guided activities for preschoolers while their parents attend Wednesday night worship and discipleship activities. Mission Friends follows a specific curriculum provided by the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) of the Southern Baptist Convention. The hour is fast paced and highly active, as you might expect if it’s going to keep pace with preschoolers. We currently offer classes for threes, fours, and kindergarteners. The teachers are all volunteers, and each one has a heart for teaching the love of Christ to preschoolers, a love that propels us to spread the gospel to a lost world.
