Children's Sunday School

Sunday School is offered for children in grades K-4 both at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.  Loving Christian adults teach God's Word in such a way that it applies to the daily lives of our children.  We group the children by grades in order for the teaching to be age-appropriate educationally as well as spiritually. We use LifeWay's Bible Teaching curriculum and invite you to explore its Scope and Sequence and the Levels of Learning through the links on this page.

Security:  Parents of kindergarteners must drop off and pick up their children.  You will receive a security tag (number matches that of their child's nametag) upon entering the downstairs children's area, and must present that matching tag to retrieve your child.

We ask parents of first and second graders to drop off and pick up your children, although a security tag is not required for these ages.

Children learn different things in Sunday school.  Our foundational stories are centered around God, Jesus, Bible, Creation, Family, Self, Church, Community and World, Holy Spirit and Salvation.  Take a look at why and how we use these stories to further our children's knowledge about God and their beliefs in Him.

We break down our foundational truths into weekly Bible stories.  Here is a list of what our children are learning every week.  This list starts in 2010 and covers through 2013.  As you will see, each foundational truth is covered many different times so that our children can learn in many different ways.
