As a missionary kid, Ed grew up in Latin America and El Paso, Texas. He completed undergraduate studies in Education at Baylor University, and then had a 25 year career with a Fortune 500 service management company. Ed completed his M.B.A. at Trinity University, and served as the Operations General Manager for the athlete's foodservices at the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain. He and his wife, Patty, church organist and Director of Church Music Education, have lived in Southlake, Texas for 10 years, and have two children, Michal and Tres. Ed served in various capacities in lay leadership at First Baptist Church Keller, and then joined the staff in May 2004.
