Tuition Information

The following information is for the 2010-2011 school year.  Tuition is based on a student taking 31 lessons over the school year.  The monthly rate for a 30-minute lesson is $85 for a total of $765 over the course of the school year.  The monthly rate for a 45-minute lesson is $127 for a total of $1143 over the course of the school year.  

The monthly rate is for the convenience of parents and is not related to the number of lessons in a particular month.  Failure to remit tuition payments before the 10th of each month may result in a $10 late fee added to the account.

Tuition Information for Summer 2010

Tuition for Summer 2010 is $25 for a 30-minute lesson and $37.50 for a 45-minute lesson.  Current students must take a minimum of 3 summer lessons to hold thier spot in the Academy for the Fall 2010 semester.  Students who do not take the required summer lessons, will be dropped from the Academy and must contact the director to be placed on the waiting list for Fall 2010.

The following is the payment schedule for Summer 2010 

  • 3-4 Lesson summer: Due June 1 
  • 5-7 Lesson Summer: Half due June 1, half due July 1
  • 8-10 Lesson Summer: 1/3 due June 1, 1/3 due July 1, 1/3 due August 1 


    A reminder that the tuition payment plan if for the convenience of our students and their families and is NOT tied to the number of lessons given in a month.

Current students must take a minimum of three lessons.  New students must take a minimum of 7 lessons.

Summer instruction takes place between June 1, 2010 and August 20, 2010 and is scheduled with the individual instructors. If your instructor is not teaching, you will be transfered to another teacher just for the summer. The summer tuition is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to fall instruction in the event that a student is not able to complete summer study.
