Handbell Ministry

The Handbell Ministry of FBC Keller is one of the fastest growing areas within our Worship and Creative Arts Ministry.  We have opportunities for children, students, and adults.  We are blessed to have a 4 1/2 Octave Set of Schulmerich Handbells and an additional 3 Octave Set of Schulmerich Bells.  We also have 4 1/2 Octaves of Suzuki Tonechimes and 3 Octaves of Malmark Choirchimes.  Our Instrumental Music Assistant, Mark Arnold, provides overall leadership to this ministry area.

Handbell Opportunities for Children

Handbells and chimes feature prominently as part of our Worship Arts for Kids ministry.  At an early age, children gain experience in proper handbell technique and begin playing age-appropriate handbell arrangements.  Our sixth grade students form a Handbell Ensemble that rehearses weekly during our regular Worship Arts for Kids time.  For more information about Handbells for children, please contact Mark Arnold or Paula Olson.
