This is a great site recommended by Ken Gardner, a veteran and creative teacher from department Adult C14.

A great place to look up passages in large array of different translations.

Lesson helps for all Lifeway series, with great maps, charts, and outlines.

This site has some great maps and background materials.

Lifeway's website for updated teaching helps for each series (and a few weeks in advance).  (No user ID or password required, just click on what you want to see.)

A great site if you want to see current pictures of Bible places or use pictures of Biblical sites for a PowerPoint presentation.

A most remarkable Bible teacher, Ray Vanderlaan studied at a Jewish rabbinical school.  He has incredible insights into the geography, background, social customs, and relationship of the Old Testament to the New Testament.  Be sure and check on the "Scripture Cross Reference" tab at the top right of home page.

Alfred Edersheim was a 19th century Jewish German Christian whose writings about the Jewish background of the Bible are still remarkable.  This site has many of his writings and they are worth reading.  He has extensive material on the Temple and Jewish social life in the 1st century A.D.
