During this unprecedented time, we are diligently praying for you all, following a plan to keep our families safe, and rejoicing in our hope in Jesus Christ.

Dear Church Family,

Romans 12:12 states, “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” As a church staff, we have been in consistent prayer as we patiently endure these unique days. We have been petitioning God for mercy on our land and all of those who have been impacted by COVID-19. We have also been asking God to give us wisdom in making decisions that balance the physical safety of our members and guests with our desire to be together in fellowship again. We are asking that you continue to join us in praying in that way.

Summer Events Canceled

As many of you know, summertime at First Baptist Church Keller is typically full of annual ministry events. The summer of 2020 will look different. While we are certain that ministry will still be happening, and we are currently in the process of pinpointing creative avenues for ministry, many of the events that are held annually are being canceled.

The canceled events for the summer of 2020 include:

If your family has already submitted deposits or payments for these events, our finance office will be processing those refunds within the next month. While we are disappointed that these events cannot go on as planned, we trust that God’s plan and mission are totally unhindered and are marching forward according to His sovereign will.

We are Here for You and Your Family

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, you can contact the church office during business hours or send emails to our pastoral staff. We love you and are anticipating the gathering of God’s people together in the near future. We continue to rejoice in the sure hope of Christ as our King, to walk patiently as a church family through this unique time, and to be consistent in our prayers for you.

In Christ,

FBC Keller Staff
