Emotions have the power to enrich relationships or drive wedges into them. Emotions are an essential way in which we bear God’s image. Jesus leads the way. What do you love? At the heart of emotions is love. Emotions flow out of what we love and, at the same time, they can help us love what is important: God and one another.
