Children's Sunday Activities

Sunday School

Grades K-4, 9:45 a.m.
Loving Christian adults teach God’s Word in such a way that it applies to the daily lives of our children. We group the children by grades in order for the teaching to be age-appropriate educationally as well as spiritually.

We use the Answers in Genesis curriculum, and we invite you to explore the scope and sequence, levels of learning, and parent resources at answersingenesis.org.

Security

Our church uses the KidCheck system to secure our children so that only authorized parents or guardians can pick them up. All of our volunteers have completed a criminal background check as well as a child safety training course. When you arrive at church, there are kiosks to check in your children and print out their tags. You can also use Express Check-in with the KidCheck app on your mobile device.

New Christians Class for Children

This special class is offered once a quarter for children who have made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ or who have questions about salvation. The New Christians Class meets on Sunday mornings. Parents are expected to attend this class with their children.

Bible Drill

Sunday afternoons
October through April
4:00 – 5:15 p.m.

Students in grades 4-12 memorize scripture with the help of faithful adults who lead them in events throughout the year. These students participate in three levels of Drill: Church Drill, Association Drill, and Date Drill. Contact Deborah Stovall at 817-797-2347 to learn more.

We have created videos (available here) for Youth and for Children so you can learn more about Bible Drill and how you can help your child as they memorize scripture. These are great at-home training tools to help your child be prepared for both weekly meetings as well as end-of-the-year drills.
